American Lumper Services is a nationwide Warehouse Management Company that is currently seeking General Warehouse associates in our Jefferson, GA location. Positions include but not limited to shipping, receiving, packing, sorting, picking. Some departments require consistent heavy lifting of 50-85lbs throughout the day. Weekly pay!! Department premiums available!

Available Shifts:

A Shift $17/ hr Monday to Thursday 5:00am – 3:30pm

B Shift $18.50/hr Friday to Sunday 5:00am – 5:30pm

C Shift $18/hr Monday to Thursday 4:45pm – 2:15am

D Shift $20/hr Friday to Sunday 5:30pm – 4:45am

Have the ability to work safely and abide by all of HomeGoods Safety rules and procedures.
Ability to use basic computer functions as needed
Ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
Must have the ability to perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy. • Must have the flexibility, if instructed, to work in any General Warehouse function (anywhere in the building, any channel, at any time during the shift)
Must be able to maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions
General Distribution Center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.)

JOB FUNCTIONS (TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: Unload pick carts. – Sort orders by shipping method Retrieve Exceptions as requested; Audit orders Complete additional distribution functions as instructed Other tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems. • Proven team member with skills to multi-task. • Proficient reading skills. • Must have the ability to abide by all of HomeGoods’ policies and procedures; specifically the attendance policy. • Must know, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required. • Six months automated distribution center experience preferred.

PHYSICAL AND WORK DEMANDS • Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to fifty pounds. Some departments require the ability to continuously lift 50 to 85lbs • Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, lift, push & pull for the entire shift. Must be able to work consecutive days during peak season.
